French rising star Boris Mouton resulted the best in the grom category. With riders from 8 nations and a unique lifestyle program with many side activities, the event resulted in a big success and it is already confirmed for season 2013. Teams from Netherland, Austria, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Romania, France, Italy and Chile landed in Monte Bondone, Trentino, for the first and unique halfpipe event of the World Rookie Tour. In a perfectly shaped halfpipe, the event resulted in a big international meeting for young pipe riders, and it offered and training and competition opportunity for all of them. The event program also offered the partecipants several lifestyle activities: film premiere, night walk in the mountain woods with torches, a visit to Trento city and a final sunset party on the top of the mountain hut "Cima Palon" with a night powder home-run. The finals saw an high level of riding and English Court-James Lewis resulted the best male of the event. He won a ticket to for the Protest World Rookie Finals in Ischgl, Austria. French ripper Boris Mouton was the best male grom while Diana Augustinova from Czech Republic won the women category. Nederland, Austria, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Rumania, France, Italy and Chile are the national rookie teams for the first halfpipe event in the World Rokie Tour. With many side activities in the program, this event offers to all the partecipants a unique lifestyle and travel experience, to underline the World Rookie Tour philosophy: snowboarding is not just competing. The trainings of day 1 inaugurate Monte Bondone halfpipe, builded in the last week mainly with artificial snow and with a big effort from the local shaper crew. After the trainings and a few hours of relax in the SPA, the partecipants took part in a walk in the wood with torches together with the world famouse "Black Yeti". Day1 ended in the snowpark for a night session with a suggestive view on the valley of Trento.
