Challenge number three takes us back to the roots of street skating- To the parking lots!
We want to see your best Car Park footage...
Whether it's Manual Islands at Morrisons, Loading Bays at Lidl or Curbs at Carrefour; Car parks are to European skateboarding what School Yards are to the U.S, It's where most of us learned the basics before all these Skateparks and Plaza's came along.
If you need some motivation, check out Volcoms Kris Vile, Cruising effortlessly around a rough-as-dogs parking lot.
Legend has it that Lucero started the street revolution when he waxed up some free standing curbs in a So-Cal parking lot in 1978. In that spirit, this challenge is about making the best of what's there: it doesn't matter how good or bad the spot is, if cars park there, it's in!
This challenge isn't about being the best skater or doing the best trick - the winner will be the one whose clip gathers the most views over the 2 months so use your imagination: make it funny, daft, gnarly, whatever....If you pimp your clip around the internet and get as many people watching it as possible, you'll be in with a chance.
There's a whole box of Volcom kit up for grabs - Hoodies, Tees, Pants, Caps, Stickers... Volcom will make up a different box of kit every two months for us - just for you!
Congratulations to bobbyb for winning the May/June challange with Plywood Paradise - a box of Volcom goodies is on its way to you now!
Congratulations to sk8luke for winning the August / September challenge with this Wallride, putting the old guys to shame! A Junior Volcom Package is on its way.
